Learn Create Share from Chris J Wilson - Issue #9
It’s been a while, I know.
There’s been a lot on and a lot of distractions.
In truth I haven’t really applied the “learn, create, share” concept too well recently.
But that’s life.
Here are some things I’ve liked recently.
The Sketchnote Ideabook — the sketchbook designed for sketchnoters.
Mike Rohde, sketchnoter [inventor? creator? discoverer?] has been doing a kickstarter for “the ultimate sketchnoting notebook.
I had the chance to see and touch a prototype last year and it was stunning.
Yes, I have pre-ordered one and today is the last day you can too.
(p.s. yes, this was the impetus to get me to send a new newsletter)
3 ideas, 2 quotes, 1 question (September 19, 2019) | James Clear
James Clear’s newsletter is rather good. This is one of his recent one’s and I liked his first point.
It’s also interesting to consider that he contrasts Processes with Goals/results.
Meanwhile...
I’ve been playing around with iOS 13.1. Normally I’d join the beta program, but I decided against it this year.
The main factor was that I wanted to keep reminders working with my wife and feared that the new reminders would stop working. It seems that wasn’t true.
The new features, particular on the iPad, are really exciting and I can already see that some of those annoying iPad friction points are gone.
Not all of them, mind. But iOS really does get better each year (as you’d hope).
Speak soon,
Chris
