🧠+ 😃 Issue #3 (from Chris J Wilson)

I didn’t publish a long article this week. Not one more than tweet length (excluding work). It’s been a long time since that was last true.

There’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve been working on some articles and creating other content (it’samazingwhatyoucandowithaplectrum). Even more importantly, I’ve been feeding my mind and soul.

I wouldn’t have felt the same 10 years ago. In my early 20s I became a real productivity junky. I felt like I constantly needed to be doing more. To be producing over consuming.

Now I see it as more nuanced.

While I still think it’s good to focus on contributing, giving, and producing we can’t do it all the time (well, I can’t!) I need to consume information and relax to be more effective.

It’s like a field. If you never watered it, it would never produce any crop.

And that brings us nicely onto this week’s content.

I’ve found several resources about creating this week. And I’m sharing them with you. Enjoy.

A special edition next week...

I’ve had an idea for next week’s edition. There’s going to be a specific theme for the content.

In some ways this edition was a test of that idea as they all centered around creativity.

I’d love your feedback before next week though. My theory is that I’m sharing too many links and so people aren’t clicking them (I’m sorry for snooping on you with analytics…but I look to see if people are reading the links). So I’d like to know.

Would you like fewer links? (Perhaps 6 in total).

Hit reply, let me know and see you next week.

Chris.
