Last year I came up with a simple idea.
What if, instead of going shopping for black Friday, we made some sketchnotes?
In truth, it was heavily “Inktober” inspired, as well as the obvious sources of BuyNothingDay and unfortunately, due to one reason or another nothing came of the idea.
This year it’s totally a thing (check out the post on the Sketchnote Army announcing it).
By now your inbox is probably full of sales details, some of which are probably great deals, many of which are probably terrible. I hope this email provides you with a welcome break.
If you don’t/can’t sketchnote then maybe you’d like to use one of the prompts to write instead of drawing.
